Charles John Mahoney – Biografija

Američki je glumac rođen u  Blackpool, Lancashire, England 20. juna 1940. godine, a umro 4. februara 2018. godine u Chicago, Illinois, U.S.

Glumac je emigrirao u Sjedinjene Američke Države u dobi od 18 godina i svoju glumačku karijeru započeo na pozornici 1977. godine, a kasnije je počeo da glumi u filmovima 1980. godine.

Pored svog filmskog i televizijskog rada, Mahoney je radio i kao glumac za posuđivanje glasa i bio je posebno strastven u svom scenskom radu na Broadwayu i u Chicago teatru.

Privatni život
Otkrio je da je bio u nekoliko veza, i da se nikada nije oženio, navodeći nesretan brak svojih roditelja kao nešto čega se bojao da će se i njemu desiti. Sredinom 1980-ih bolovao je od raka debelog crijeva i osjećao se nesposobnim za seks nakon kolostomije. Njegova katolička vjera bila je u središtu njegovog života i rada.
