Američka je glumica najpoznatija po ulogama Brende Walsh u Beverly Hillsu, 90210 i Prudence Halliwell u “Čarobnicama“. Rođena je 12. aprila 1971. godine u Memphis, Tennessee.

U dobi od 7 godina sa porodicom se preselila u Los Angeles i odmah se vidjelo da želi biti glumica. Da bi 1981 dodine sa punih 11 godina dobija ulogu Jenny Wilder u mini-seriji “Mala kuća u preriji” zahvaljujući producentu Michaelu Landonu.

Dobila je ulogu Kris, starije blizanke u seriji “Naša kuća” koja se prikazivala od 1986.-1988. s kojom je dobila mnogo nominacija za “Najbolju mladu glumicu”. Glumila je u jednoj epizodi hit serije “Magnum” uz Toma Sellecka.

Da bi prva veća uloga bila ona Heather Duke u filmu “Heathers” uz Winonu Ryder i Christiana Slatera. Film je 2006. rangiran 5# na listi “50 njaboljih srednjoškolskih filmova”.

Čak se nekoliko puta slikala gola za magazin “Playboy”. Živi u Malibuu u Kaliforniji i ima ranč u Ventura Countyu na kojem ima nekoliko konja i pasa.

Privatni život
U braku je bila sa Ashleyom Hamiltonom i Rickom Salomonaom, a bila je zaručena za Judda Nelsona. Tako da niti sa jednim bračnim i vanbračnim partnerom nije imala djece.
