Američka je književnica, režiserka, producentica i glumica, rođena je 19. februara 1966 godine u Ryeu u New Yorku.

Sa glumom se počela baviti osamdesetih godina u serijama “Family Ties”, “Satisfaction”, “Men Behaving Badly”, “The TV Set”, “Desperate Housewives”, i “Californication”.

Režirala je i producirala kratki film “Pet minuta”, koji je premijerno prikazan 2017. godine na Toronto Film Festivalu.

Također ima diplomu iz područja računalnih tehnologija i digitalnog medija iz UCLA-e 2016. Godine, a takođe je I licencirani pilot aviona i certificirani ronilac.

Privatni život
Krajem osamdesetih godina bila je sa Leifom Garrettom, a u braku je bila sa Markom Fluentom, s kojim ima dvoje djece.
