Američka filmska, pozorišna i televizijska glumica, mađarskog porijekla, rođena u Budapest 6. februara 1917 godine, a umrla u 99. godini od zastoja srca malo prije 100 – og rođendana 18. decembra 2016. godine. Karijeru je počela kao veoma mlada u jednom bečkom pozorištu u kojem je nastupala sve do 1932. godine, da bi se 1936. godine prijavila na izbor za Miss Mađarske i pobijedila, a 1941. godine odlazi u Ameriku i počinje filmsku karijeru i postaje jedna od najtraženijih glumica.

Privatni život
Veću popularnost od filmova ovoj glumici su donijeli buran ljubavni život i činjenica da se udavala devet puta, zbog čega je ušla u Ginisovu knjigu rekorda kao jedna od tri glumice sa najviše brakova. U braku je bila sa Burhan Asaf, Konrad Hilton, Džordž Sanders, Herbert Hatner, Džošua S. Kosden Mlađi, Džek Rajan, Majkl O’Her, Felipe od Albe (s kojim je brak poništen) i Frederik Princ fon Anhalt s kojim je u braku bila sve do svoje smrti. Iz devet brakova koje je imala, dobila je samo jedu kćerku Frančesku koja je umrla 2015. godine sa magnatom Konrad Hiltonom.
